Oh, is there more to Germany than just beer?
I didn't know!
;-)
But have you seen the ads for Eastern Europe? With the tag line: 'More than just weight lifters' and a guy looking like Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm.

The idiot in the photo with the ludicrous hat and top button done up proabably comes from Lewisham!

I saw 2 German businessmen yesterday on the Docklands Light Rail laughing at this advert...
Great blog - am trying to muddle along in my rudimentary German... But what I can make out I really enjoy. And with a bit of luck, my German will improve!!

Dear Goddess, almighty, please do spare us from the kind of traveler that would come to germany attracted by this ad ;-)

LOL, everyone. It is such an awful picture. I just couldn't resist to post it. Jeanne: Cheers! I know that the online translations services are more or less useless. Especially because my German sometimes does not follow grammar or pronunciation rules, ah well...Joolez: Couldn't agree more. Red Baron says... fucking marvellous, mate.

Mr BaliHai is right, as usual. Oh, and Easy Jet: I know a good art director who's got some spare time to do some *proper* work for you.

Ralf, do you really think you could improve this brilliant timeless piece of advertising art? : )

Wo ist der Campingwagen?
Posted by: Maxx | 16/07/2004 at 09:45
We only drive caravans in Germany, the Brits wouldn't know this - on the left side of the Autobahn as well, just to annoy you. Because after all, BILD has given us Gutscheins ;)
